Ring Type Joint Gasket (RTJ)
Ring Type Joint Gaskets (RTJ) are precision-engineered metallic gaskets designed to withstand high pressure and high-temperature applications. They are commonly used in the oil & gas, petrochemical, refinery, and power generation industries where secure and leak-proof sealing is critical.
Manufactured from a variety of metals such as soft iron, stainless steel, and alloy steels, RTJ gaskets are designed to be seated in specially machined grooves on RTJ flanges. When the bolts are tightened, the gasket is compressed between the flanges, creating a strong metal-to-metal seal.
RTJ gaskets are available in multiple styles including Oval, Octagonal, RX, and BX types, each suited for specific pressure classes and operational requirements.
